Gift Card & Plaza Premium Lounge Pass

Plaza Premium Lounge Pass, or PPL Pass in short, is the improved and digitalised version of the former Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card. The PPL Pass enables travellers to purchase lounge access in advance and save up to 50% off standard walk-in rates. Each PPL Pass is valid for 12 months upon activation.
PPL Pass is currently only available for purchase online at Plaza Premium Lounge’s official website.
Upon activating your PPL Pass, you will be issued lounge passes (“Vouchers”) according to the no. of access tagged to the PPL Pass. If you have purchased a PPL Pass with 2 visits, you will receive 2 vouchers. Simply present the Vouchers at the lounge reception for entry.

Smart Traveller
If you are Smart Traveller member and have logged into your account before activating your PPL Pass either on the Smart Traveller website or mobile app, the Vouchers can be found in your Smart Traveller mobile app wallet.
 
Others
Non-Smart Traveller members, or members who did not log in before performing activation, will receive the Vouchers through email upon successful activation.
 
An Unlock/Activation code will be sent to your registered email address after purchase. Simply click on the Unlock link on the email and follow the instructions to activate your PPL Pass.
 
Smart Traveller
If you are Smart Traveller member, you can activate your PPL Pass and store the associated Vouchers in your Smart Traveller mobile app for convenient access, without worrying about losing or accidentally deleting the Vouchers. Simply login into your Smart Traveller account on the PPL Pass activation page before performing the activation process, or go to “Activate PPL Pass” on your Smart Traveller mobile app. Upon successful activation, your PPL Pass can be found in your Smart Traveller mobile app wallet.
 
Any ST Points associated with the PPL Pass purchase will be issued to your Smart Traveller account within 14 days of PPL Pass activation.
 
Non-Smart Traveller Members
Non-Smart Traveller members will receive the Vouchers through email upon successful activation. Non-members are not eligible to claim or earn any ST Points associated with any PPL Pass purchase.
Activation must be performed before the activation code expiration dates indicated on the purchase confirmation email, otherwise the link will expire.
 
  • If you have logged in to your Smart Traveller account before purchasing PPL Pass, you can simply go to your Smart Traveller App >> Menu >> Activate PPL Pass >> History to locate the PPL Pass, then click on “Resend Code”. The code would then be sent to your registered email account.
  • If you purchased PPL Pass without logging into your account, please reach us through Contact Us for reissuance of the code.
If there are any ST Points to be issued under any PPL Pass purchase, the points would be credited within 14 days into the account of the Smart Traveller member who activated the PPL Pass.
No. You must present the lounge access voucher associated with the PPL Pass to enter the lounge using the PPL Pass entitlement, otherwise the regular walk-in rate would be payable.
Yes, you can. If you are travelling together, simply present the lounge access voucher associated with your PPL Pass to our lounge staff who will process the entry and deduct the visit from your PPL Pass entitlement.

If you are not travelling together, you can transfer the voucher to your friend by the following means:

Smart Traveller Member
Go to "my wallet" in your Smart Traveller mobile app, select the voucher to transfer, and click on "Gift It" to send the voucher to your friend via email or mobile (SMS).

Non-Smart Traveller Member
Locate the original voucher email sent to your registered email address and forward it to your friend.

Upon receipt of the voucher, your friend just need to present it to the lounge staff for entry, and the PPL Pass entitlement will be deducted accordingly.

 
PPL Pass is valid for twelve (12) months upon activation.
Lounge access includes use of lounge bay, shower facility, food & non-alcoholic* beverages, Internet access, and charging points. Facilities vary by locations and usage is subject to availability. Some facilities are chargeable.

*Where alcoholic beverages are offered with general lounge access (i.e. walk-in paid entries), it will also be available to PPL Pass users. Please enquire with the respective lounges for details.
You can stay up to 3 hours per visit (some lounges offer 2 hours only). Please enquire with the respective lounge for stay duration.
You will receive an email with remaining balance update after each use.
No. There is no need to top up your PPL Pass. You can simply purchase a new pass.
Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Cards have been retired and no longer available for sale. PPL Pass offers similar lounge access functions, but it is a digital version (offering better savings too!) that can be stored in the Smart Traveller wallet or issued as QR codes via email.
Yes, so long as the cards have remaining balance and not expired.
You can still collect the Gift Card at any operating Plaza Premium Lounge location, so long as the collection date is within six (6) months of purchase date. Please present your purchase confirmation letter for collection. Gift Cards not collected within that period would be automatically voided.

You can convert your Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card to PPL Pass subject to the following conditions being met:

  • You are a Smart Traveller member;
  • Your Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card was purchased no earlier than Dec 2021;
  • You have not previously collected or activated your Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card;
  • You are the original purchaser/recipient of the Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card;
  • The Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card is still within the six (6) months collection period;
  • Please note any bonus, e.g. extra lounge access, massage, etc., attached to the Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card would be forfeited upon conversion.
 

If all the above conditions are met and accepted, please contact our Global Contact Centre and provide the following for card conversion:

  • Plaza Premium Lounge Gift Card purchase confirmation email and PDF attachment;
  • Your Email Address;
  • Your Smart Traveller membership no.
 

We will process your request within 10 days and may reach out to you for more information, if necessary. If your request for conversion is approved, you will be notified in writing with instructions on how to activate your PPL Pass.
